11 / Hellfire Bluff Distillery

Three bottles, so the shop is the page

A site for a Tasmanian distillery that makes potato vodka, London dry gin and limoncello. There are only three products, so there is no catalogue. Each one gets a full screen and is bought where it is described.

The brief

A distillery with three bottles does not need a shop in the usual sense. Sending someone from a homepage to a category to a product page, for a range they can see in one scroll, adds three clicks and no information.

What we built

  1. 01

One full screen per bottle, with the bottle photographed against a ground chosen for it: white for the vodka, black for the gin

  2. 02

Size, quantity, running total and Add to Cart sitting inside the same band as the description

  3. 03

Strength stated on every product, because it is the first thing a spirits buyer looks for

  4. 04

The three products as the whole top navigation, since the range is the site map

Screens

Two full-screen product bands: Tasmanian Potato Vodka on white with size and quantity selectors, and London Dry Gin on black with the same controls.
White for the vodka, black for the gin. The same band does the describing and the selling.

Outcomes

  • A bottle can be bought from the page that describes it, with no product page in between

  • The range is legible in one scroll

  • Each spirit gets its own treatment without needing its own template
